What We Believe

There is one eternally existing God. We believe that there is only one true God, the Creator and Sustainer of all creatures. He is infinitely perfect in all of His attributes.

We believe that our Lord, Jesus Christ, is fully divine and fully human, the only Begotten Son of God. We believe in His substitutionary death for the sins of all men. He is alive and He will return bodily to judge the living and the dead (I Corinthians 15:3-4).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, the Third Person of the Trinity. He seals the believers for the day of redemption and gives us grace and power to live and work for God. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit manifesting in the fruits and gifts of the Spirit (I Corinthians 12:4-10, Galatians 5:22-23).

We believe that the Bible is the revelation of God’s mind to man. It is His inspired Word which is perfectly sufficient to know God and His will necessary for the eternal welfare of mankind. We take it as infallible, supreme and the final authority for the Christian faith and life (II Timothy 3:15-17).

We believe that man was originally created by a definite act of God in His own image to fellowship with Him and fulfil God’s purpose in Genesis 1:26.

We believe that man fell from his state of moral perfection because of sin. So, all need to repent and accept the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Salvation becomes effective as a person receives the finished work of Calvary. This salvation is available to anyone who will believe and receive.

We believe the ordinance of water baptism according to the command of God for every one after the New Birth. It should be by immersion as a public identification with our Lord Jesus’ death and resurrection. From then on a believer should walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:3-8).

We believe that the Christian life should be lived out in all aspects of a believer’s life in obedience to the principles of the Holy Scriptures and the guidance of the Holy Spirit (I Timothy 4:12). A Christian’s goal is to be conformed to the image of Christ as he makes Him the Lord over all areas of his life.

We believe that that the Church of Jesus Christ is the universal Body of God’s redeemed people visibly expressed in local assemblies whose purpose is to glorify God through worship, fellowship and ministry. We also believe in Body Ministry for the edifying of the Church and the growth of the kingdom of God.

Francis & Grace Olonade

Rev. Dr. Francis Olonade is the General Overseer of the Jesus is Lord Foundation International. He is called, anointed and commissioned to take the gospel round the whole world. The ministry started on the 31st of May 1986 under the leading of the Holy Spirit and continues to grow locally and internationally. He is a Father & Mentor to many young ministers, thus fulfilling a part of his divine mandate of “raising an end-time army” for the Lord.

Rev. Dr. Grace Olonade serves alongside her husband as the Vice-President of the ministry and the Senior Pastor of the local churches called Full Redemption Chapel. She is an intercessor and a counsellor who is zealous about seeing new converts established in the faith.

RESIDENT PASTORS
Dr. Israel Olonade

Pastor Israel is the first son of the founders, Francis & Grace, and has known God all his life. He has served in different capacities within the ministry and currently serves as the Resident Pastor of Full Redemption Chapel in the UK.

He has the gift of teaching the Word of God and providing Godly insights for life and a close walk with the Holy Spirit. He also contributes to the writing and compilation of teaching materials for use in and outside the ministry.

He has a doctorate in Biotechnology and is blessed with a lovely family.

Pastor Winifred Oguntade

Pastor Winnie is a child of God, born again and filled with the Holy Ghost. She has walked closely with God for over 30 years and loves the Lord with her whole heart. She is a prayer warrior and excels in hospitality and visitation. She currently serves as the Assistant Pastor of the Church in London and particularly enjoys demonstrating the love of Jesus to children.

She is blessed with children and grandchildren.
